chronic psoriasis / dandruff and flaking of the skin?

I suffer from chronic psoriasis in the upper half of my body. Generally my stomach and my back. It was about 6 years since it started. It was really bad when we had a dehumidifier in the house due to flooding, it has since cleared up a bit. But there are still patches, and they become very dry, itchy and painful.
