Applying Vitamin E To Psoriasis

Really dry scaly skin on my legs / arm lotion will not help, any ideas?
I had this dry skin scaly patch really on my leg and my arm. I really think it's dry winter, I tried to take a bath, scrub, and apply cocoa butter and oil the skin with vitamin E at all times. Nothing seems to help I also tried body butter, Vaseline, baby oil and scaly skin is always there! It is really itchy at times and I try to add benadryl topical aid. If someone else had the same problem or have any other ideas let me know. It is not beat psoriasis or eczema.
Unless you had a dermatologist examine and diagnose what you can not say it's none of these conditions. As far as taking a bath, do you soak in water or pure? I would try oatmeal brand AVENO soak, then dab the skin dry out dry. I would say that if it does not work then I'd be sure to see a doctor.
