Scalp psoriasis and I have to wear wigs …. advice?

Unfortunately, I have psoriasis in my scalp (I was a dermatologist) and I have to wear fake hair (Weavings, extensions.etc) until it disappears. I do not think I what to wear for long therm, but I did. Anyway, I keep hearing that comment on my hair but it is false beyond my control. How can I learn to ignore the comments? Incidentally, I'm black if that matters …

I do not have severe psoriasis, but I hope I can help you in any way possible. I have psoriasis on my elbows limited and eyelids. To decrease the amount of dander I exfloliating use a glove in the shower. With soap and water I use a circular motion to slough off all dead skin. then after the shower, I ask prescription fluocinonide cream 0.05%. I am a half white and Asian and I do not wear armor.
