Without taking a pill, which is the best way to treat psoriasis?

HAVE HYDROCORTIZONE tried shampoos PSORIASIS, DERMAREST, lotions MISC ART and drugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This question is for my wife 29 years. We've heard that it is diff between men and women. as far as treatment goes.
