Enbrel Psoriasis

How much does Raptive or Enbrel (medicines used to treat psoriasis) cost per treatment?
Do most insurance companies cover the treatments?
I don’t know what state you live in or what drugstore you use, and it does make a difference. My daughter uses Enbrel and the package comes with 4 shots. It’s approx $1200.00 a package but our insurance does cover it, now. Originally they would not cover it because it wasn’t FDA approved for psoriasis but I appealed their decision (acutally asked for an emergency appeal) and it was approved within 24 hours. However, the appeal wouldn’t have been approved without the help and information from her dermatoligist. At the time, my daughter was in severe pain and was affected at 100% of her body and all other treatments failed.
Good Luck!
