How Is Psoriasis Treated

Where Can I Find a UVB Light to Treat Psoriasis?
I have read that UVB lights are used to treat psoriasis, but I don’t know how to get one. I have seen some advertised online for around $300 but they are huge and require a prescription. I just need something small to use on my hands.
I have also seen some UVB bulbs for use in Iguana tanks. They are much cheaper and don’t require a prescription. Does anyone know if these would work? Thanks!!!
First of all, since u have mild psoriasis on ur hands,u could opt for home treatment that require just a brief exposure of UVB light on ur hands. However,u should prescribe to a doctor to consult bout this home treatment since the doctor will give u any creams that u have to apply before UVB light exposure and plus, the doctor will give u the necessary equipment for u to do ur own treatment at home.If u want,u could get a cream that u can apply before u expose ur hands in the sun for a brief time since the sun itself helps to heal psoriasis.Do be careful to not overdo it.However,if u would like to opt for homemade remedies, these are those remedies that could help u to improve ur skin.
Cabbage: Pick the thickest and greenest outer leaves of the cabbage. Wash leaves thoroughly in warm water. Dry with a towel. Remove the thick veins then flatten and smoothen them out using a rolling pin. Warm and make layered application on the affected part. Place a soft woolen cloth over it. Secure the whole compress using an elastic bandage.
Bitter gourd: Mix a cup of fresh bitter gourd juice with 1 teaspoon of limejuice. Sip slowly on a empty stomach everyday. Continue treatment from 4-6 months.
Avocado: Apply avocado oil gently on the affected parts.
Cashew nut: Apply cashew nut oil extracted from the outer shell of the cashew nut. It has acrid and rubefacient properties that are effective in the treatment of psoriasis.
Buttermilk: Drink liberal quantity of curd in buttermilk form. You can also try using buttermilk when compressing the affected area.
Well, these are different 5 types of remedies that u could do at home to improve ur psoriasis.Pick one that suits u though and good luck trying these since these are really effective remedies for u.Hope this helps.
P/s:Bout the Iguana tanks,I think it’s a good idea since u could expose ur hands to UVB light as a treatment. However,do apply a cream first and consult someone before doing it.
