Remedies for both eczema and psoriasis?

My father 50 years old has over the past two months, developed what should be eczema or psoriasis. Under his beard there developed scaleY patches that are very irritating. He stopped using the dye the beard, but the spots remain and there is now emerging a patch on his scalp. It is also developing red itchy areas on his arms, chest, back, and now his hand.
