Psoriasis In The Scalp

Any tips for scalp psoriasis please?

i have so much to say, i dont know where to begin. i’ve had mild psoriasis since i was in 4th grade but it would come for a little while and then go away for years then come back, i got it again at the end of last summer and it hasnt gone away since, its actually getting worse now. it used to just be at the end of my hair on the back of my head, now its behind my ears, on my scalp and my forehead and it seems to be getting worse. and it looks like im getting a little patch of it on my ribs, i havent scratched it at all cause i know that can spread it. i read that smoking could make it worse so i’ve completely stopped but it hasnt even helped what so ever. im at a loss right now, i dont know wat to do. i dont have insurance so i cant go to a doctor and get medicine, i just applied for medi-cal. is there any tips or home remedies i can do to make it go away or stop it from getting worse?
i use extra strenth t-gel shampoo

Salicylic acid can help remove scale. That is in things like T-Sal shampoo and Scalpicin. Tars can help, but the shampoos are short contact. Look for a tar gel or lotion. Cutar is one available over the counter or by mail order. The scratching does not spread it, but injury to the skin, like by scratching, can promote it.
