What would happen if I suddenly stopped taking 4 mg of prednisone?

I always heard that you must wean it. Why? If I suddenly stopped taking my 4 mg day, what would happen? It's like a small dose. Would I even miss it? I take for psoriasis and arthritis.

not just continue to do as the doctor said. right now I'm out of my weened my prednisone for rheumatoid arthritis juvenile (JRA). I was 10 mg when he told me to start to get Weening off of it, but I decided to quit give him everything. which was a big mistake i was leaving a little pain. so just do what your doctor tells you.
