Psoriasis Questionnaire

Join the Navy with psoriasis?

My husband is 37 years old and want to join the Naval Reserve. He was disqualified 19 years ago with recent history, then a dime up companies psoriasis behind one ear. Currently, he has been trying to join. He completed all the questionnaires honestly and talked with his recruiter. He scored 99 on the ASVAB. He had no prescription treatment for psoriasis never questionable and that he was treated with 1 week of cortisone cream. He had no treatment in 19 to 20 years and never had a problem with her since .. So my question is .. Is this an automatic DQ this time? We see his dermatologist thought before going to MPs next week making him write a letter to him not having a problem in 20 years and perhaps suggesting that it was not psoriasis. Do you think would be useful? Anything would be helpful … Thank you in advance …

I have psoriasis and the Army let me go. I know it's a different service, but I do not see why it would be someone DQ.
