People with psoriasis of the scalp: Treatments that have worked well for you?
My scalp psoriasis began to flare again after many years (I had severe to moderate psoriasis since I was a baby) and I'm almost chipping every day. It becomes extremely annoying and embarrassing. I currently use the prescription of salicylic acid in mineral oil every night which of course does the scaling, so it just keeps coming back again and again. I use T-Gel all the time, it is not helping much. None of you had problems with scalp psoriasis? If so, I hear what you've tried that was more or less success.
I had psoriasis on my scalp for about 2 years non stop. I supplement with probiotics and evening primrose oil, and I use emu oil shampoo for desertpalmsemu.com. My head was clear for about 3-4 months. In the short term, my hairdresser rubbed oil Emu directly into my scalp, then cover with a shower cap for several hours. It helped me a lot.
