Turmeric for psoriasis? and other treatments?

I have mild psoriasis on my knees and scalp. I go to therapy photo twice a week, but it will not go away. I read about turmeric and how it can help. Does anyone have experience in using this for psoriasis? Has it for you? What other treatments have you been successful with?
