Temporary relief from flakes caused by scalp psoriasis…PLEASE HELP!!!?

I went to the dermatologist & she said I either have scalp psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, so I’m 100% sure its not dandruff. But anyway, I’m going out to dinner tonight with a couple friends & I have a black and blue shirt that I would really love to wear, but my flakes make me self conscience & I really don’t want to wear my hair up in a bun like I normally do when I have flare ups. Does anyone know of any temporary solutions? Someone told me to rinse my hair with witch hazel & mouth wash, but I thought that was for dandruff. Any ideas??

Your shampoo could be drying your skin, buy some all natural shampoo they sell at Trader Joes, and rub some baby oil on your scalp every night before you go to bed and wash off in the morning.
